Founded in Buenos Aires in 1992, Organizaci\u00f3n Musical Sudamericana (OMSA) SRL<\/strong> was created to provide proper representation for foreign music publishers in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay<\/strong>.<\/p>

Barry, a renowned music executive, represented BMI, PRS<\/strong> and was the sub-publisher for Boosey & Hawkes<\/strong>. Barry, a renowned music executive, represented BMI, PRS<\/strong> and was the sub-publisher for Boosey & Hawkes<\/strong>. Nathan, based in New York, ran Overseas Music Services, Inc.<\/strong>, representing major foreign record labels and music publishers in the U.S.<\/p>

Recognizing that many foreign publishers lacked proper representation in Argentina, OMSA was established to manage royalties and copyright registrations in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay<\/strong>. The model proved successful, attracting publishers such as Wise Music, Wixen Music, Ultra, Downtown, Budde, Jobim Music, Fermata do Brasil<\/strong>, and many others.<\/p>
